That first one seems strange to me. Aren't Heinrich events, like Dansgaard-Oscher events, just a redistribution of heat? I'm no expert but it sounds like another case of conflating abrupt local climate change with global climate change. The entire planet doesn't just up and warm up 10C in a couple of decades, as far as I know.
