John Cook

Okay, I'll come clean, I still don't have a clue how Facebook works. Someone emailed me the Facebook events for Naomi Oreskes' tour of Australia and I'm not sure what's the best way to promote it on the Skeptical Science Facebook page. The event URLs are:

Sydney http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=167573873264642
Brisbane http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=167664329924921
Melbourne http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=168494709846159
Adelaide http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=168752043154961
Perth http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=176317892382510

Any tips for a Facebook luddite?

On my FB Home page, http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=167573873264642#!/, in the UL corner under my profile pic (currently using Megamind, hahaha) I have an option called Events.  Clicking on that opens up the Events window.  In the center pane at the top is a button called Create Event.

All this assumes the SkS FB page has that capability.  If not, all bets are off.

If you want, you could offload that duty to me so you'd have backup admin help for the FB SkS page.

Hope that helps!
