Andy S suggests I use SkS house-style subheadings in my forthcoming Wells post, which seems like a good idea. But I'm not having much success in replicating them by eye. The left-justification is no problem, but what is that blue color that's used? And is there something a little different about the font, or am I imagining that?

Convention is to use "Heading 3" for section or chapter heads instead of the default "Paragraph" style.

You may have to preview your post to get a better sense of cause-and-effect. What I do is to use two tabs: 1 for the editing and the other for previewing. Remember that you will need to save your edits before the refresh in the other tabbed window can grab the revisions for display.

Belated thanks, Daniel. That worked like a charm, as you probably already noticed. A follow-up question--I've noticed some SkS headings in red. Is there a convention there? It wasn't altogether clear to me from the particular examples I happened to see.

Some headings may be in Red because they may also have a hyperlink. Like this: Skeptical ScienceSkeptical ScienceSkeptical ScienceSkeptical ScienceSkeptical Science |
