John Cook

Someone from NOAA has sent me an interesting paper by John Church (sea level expert) and a bunch of other climate heavy lifters on sea level, ocean heat accumulation, etc. There's a graph there similar to the graph I used to create http://www.skepticalscience.com/graphics.php?g=4 that goes through to 2008 - would be cool if we could also update our graph from their data.

Anyway, if anyone wants to have a look at the paper, possibly write a post about it, and don't have access, let me know and I'll email you the PDF.

I think I recall somebody - probably Rob P - is working on a post on this paper already.

Rob or whoever is working on it - if it is at all possible to get hold of the data from this paper and recreate the following graph going right to 2008, would be fantastic (would neutralise all the critics who complain that it stopped in 2003 just as the ARGO network came online):

I bet the authors would be more than happy to share the data (at least for latest ocean heating), if asked. After all, they discuss the issue even in their abstract.
