Got this email about a 2002 denier paper that seems to have escaped everyone's notice:

In a recent discussion on Greenman3610's page, someone brought up a paper by Karner (2002) (J. Geophys. Res. D), entitled "On nonstationarity and antipersistency in global temperature series". This argues that negative feedbacks have dominated the climate system, at least in the 22 years of satellite data leading up to the 2002 publication date.

I can't judge the math.  It is surprising to me that RealClimate etc. have not addressed this paper. The result is that it appears to have been deliberately ignored. Anyone at Skeptical Science know of commentary on this paper?

The paper is On nonstationarity and antipersistency in global temperature series. Here's the full PDF paper.

Also useful to see Google Scholar's citations of this paper - seems to be mostly deniers (Veizer, McKitrick, Karner himself) citing it. So don't know whether anyone has bothered to rebut it in peer-review.
