cRR Kampen is getting a little upset, and I do not know how to deal with that.  It has been good in a way, the "wamists" taking another "warmist" to task for being too assertive/confident and for splitting hairs, but now it is becoming a distraction IMHO.

I agree it is a distraction, which is why I am now ignoring him/her (following your timely post on that thread).  It is slightly ironic, many "denialists" have a bad case of Dunning Kruger and can't be corrected, but "warmists" are by no means immune either (including me)!

Yes Dikran, although my perception of you is that you are very unlikely prone to D-K.  But yes, D-K is certainly not exclusive to those in denial.

I do sense that s/he is just fed up with all the spin, moving of goal posts etc. by people like Lindezen (that post by chris was excellent showing how Lindzen keeps trying to find a negative feedback).  So on that front I can't fault them, but s/he is taking it out on the wrong people.

Initially, I thought s/he was a troll, it looked too extreme and provocative to be real. Now I concur with you, DK on the AGW side.

It's good to have these people corrected like the deniers but there's also a time to ignore them.
