I have a few illustrations I've been meaning to finish and make available. Perhaps I could start stuffing them into this one thread, otherwise, I lose track of the helpful comments and corrections.

Here's the first. I just uploaded this based on Andy S's Heat From Earth's Interior post to the Graphics resources. It isn't visible to the outside yet. I made changes to the size and spacing to suit the 1024x768 format. I also repeated the display of smaller boxes next to numerical values in case the little ones are visually lost on a power point presentation:

Here's an illustration I have sitting in the Graphics resources. It hasn't been released to the outside yet:

Let me know if this is considered presentable.

This one is in the Graphics directory in two places, which brings me to a question for John Cook: How do I delete a botched entry? I tried, but the second one didn't go away.

If every graphic tells a story and has a core fact you want the audience to come away with, what is the core fact here? That the sun is the predominant driver of climate, dwarfing all other drivers including CO2? the problem is you're using the absolute flux - if you want to compare apples to apples, you should be using the radiative forcing since pre-industrial times from the sun, not the absolute flux.

Being fair to jg, the purpose of that diagram was to rebut Doug Cotton's nonsense.  It might be interesting to see a version of the graphic showing the forcing from the pre-industrial 280 ppmv CO2 as well for more general release.

John, I deleted the first volcano graphic for you. Both those volcano graphics are great - I'd go live with both.

Thanks John. I exposed the 130x comparision illustration, but I encountered an error on the graph illustration. I can see the image from the Author's admin, but when I activate it, I don't see it on the outside. Instead, it shows as a tiny red box placeholder and the link fails. I deactivated it for now. I need your help with that one.

The purpose of the figure jg drew for my article was to show that the flow from the Earth's interior was small both in comparison to the energy flow from the sun and is small even in terms of the change in flux caused by human activities. It makes sense in the context of the article but I agree does provide a confusing message as a stand-alone figure.
