Interesting paper on the relation between Greenland and Antarctic temperatures and the bipolar seesaw model. The central point is that it is an intrinsic feature of the climate system during deglaciation.
Given our poor knowledge on glacial dynamics, one could think that similar abrupt changes may happen in the future during a further step of deglaciation of Greenland. But this is just a speculation.
