Unfortunately, I'm afraid that this presentation is going to run afoul of the paradox that JC pointed out: contradicting a myth, even in detail, often ends up only reinforcing that myth in the mind of a convinced skeptic.

To make things more difficult, Pothole54 doesn't sufficiently distinguish typographically the text he is contradicting from the text he is asserting (from the original paper), so there is a conflict between what you see (text, text, text, text) and what he says (bad text, bad text, bad text, good text).

It's a delicate matter to handle in any case, but I can only give him a B: Good content, bad presentation.

I think he did a good job - the sarcastic tone of his voice distinguished between the good text and bad text. I'll embed the video in the CERN post once it's published.

It is a good video but I agree with Neal that in this video Potholer54 did not cite from the paper as much as he normally does.  At first he says - and what does it say?  Well let's start with what it doesn't.... What does it say?  Well you have to read it!

It's a little disappointing in that respect since quotes directly from the papers are what makes his videos great; the only quote is to show that the researchers recognize that the cloud seeding effect is still up in the air, which is enough to make the point but is a bit lonely.

I think the tone of voice issue is a bit too subtle. Are you aware of the poll that showed that the occasional conservatively minded TV viewer that stumbles across The Colbert Report actually believes that Stephen Colbert is right-wing conservative? Some of these guys lack irony detectors.
