Another way to reinforce the fact that SkS authors are an international bunch would be to insert the flag of the country of residence of each author immediately after the author's name on SkS articles.

PS -- Speaking of flags, I note that the array of flags in the banner on top of the Home page does not include the Stars & Stripes. Shouldn't it be included?

The flags are for translations, not for nationalities of authors (for instance, the Australian flag is not up there either) - if you roll over any flag with your mouse, a text box appears asking if you want to view arguments in so-and-so language.

How do visitors to the SkS Home page know that the flags are buttons? Most people would just assume that they are part of the SkS logo and would never put their cursor on them.
