The good news is Mitt Romney's stance on climate change.

The bad news is that he doesn't stand a snowball's-chance-in-hell of getting the Republicn nomination.

From the article cited above,

"But his (Romney's) views on climate change are not shared by many in his party, particularly conservatives who often have outsized influence in the presidential nominating contest. According to a Pew Research Center for the People and the Press poll in October, just 38 percent of Republicans say the earth is warming and just 16 percent say it is caused by humans."

Hell, it's hard for any of the Republican candidates to get any press time at all with Palin waltzing on top of them all.

Can you say, "Third party candidate?"  I knew you could.

I think Romney's got a pretty good shot actually.  I mean, who else to they have?  Pawlenty?  Palin?  It's a sad group, and Romney was basically their #2 choice in 2010.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs that we consider you a good Republican candidate just for admitting the planet is warming and humans are contributing to it.  And those Republican denial numbers are pretty depressing.
