The topic of ocean acidification has comne to the fore in a day long blogging session I've been engaged in. My Anti-AGW nemesis just posted excerpts from the article, "Ocean Acidification: Chicken Little of the Sea Strikes Again" by David Middleton on Jan 10, 2001 on Wattsupwiththat.

Is anyone working on a rebuttal to this article for posting on SkS?

Has this article been rebutted elsewhere?

Is there a SkS-type website that focueses on ocean acidification?

I also came across,

“Ocean Acidification: The Untold Stories” published by Oceana. It is chocked full of marvelous photos.

Badger, I'm hoping to have the coral calcification intermediate version done this weekend. It addresses a lot, but not all of the garbage in the link you provided. Thanks for that, not!.

Mike Searcy - Just dandy!. Ancient coral communities were wiped out by ocean acidification and disappeared for millions of years. Rates of change much slower than the present. Given that this current Anthropogenic CO2 pulse is unprecedented in the paleo record, how exactly does that study give cause for optimism?. By the time CO2 reaches 560ppm all coral reefs will be dissolving. No wonder some coral scientists get so hot under the collar!.
