most of you might already have come across the website with neat charts called Information is beautiful. There is a new post available which includes a TED-talk-video titled "The beauty of data visualization" given by the site's owner David McCandless. The video is well worth watching and might give some ideas of how some of the SkepticalScience information could be visualized. It even talks - right at the end - about the first "carbon-neutral volcanic eruption"....
