I've created a quick repost of Peter's video here.

I wonder if Watts will let this be posted on WUWT?

It would do no good anyway because Peter took Monckton completely apart and his fan club kept cheering after Monckton Bunkum was posted on WUWT.

You're not going to change that crowds mind anytime soon.

Rob,

Is Peter doing some work for CBC at the moment?  I could have sworn I heard his voice on CBC radio the other week.

I think he freelances a lot.  I'm sure that guy has as much work available as he wants to take on.  He says he's "semi-retired."  I think that means he does work when he wants.  It's entirely possible you heard him on the CBC.

If you haven't seen his "Who I am" video it's well worth watching.

Fantastic. Just posted this to WUWT, for what it's worth (essentially nothing, sadly)...

Good that you tried KR because Watts has posted a large number of videos on his climategate 2.0 thread. The worst were a Fox News report http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL9rri7jrMs and Bolt interviewing McIntyre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eToR5oOvJiU

We can scream censorship, particularly when Watts made this gloating statement on his blog.

“While there’s always something in an endeavor that can be criticized, the fact is that our moderation policy is one of our best strengths, and why WUWT consistently outperforms these other blogs in traffic, reach, and total number of comments. Therefore I think we’ll keep the policy that has worked so well.”

Maybe he’s changed his mind?

Brian - Just checked, my comments are still there. I've posted on occasion at WUWT a number of times over the last couple of years, and while a couple of posts have been deleted, I would generally have to agree with those decisions (poor behavior on my part, temper temper temper).

I like to toss the odd clue over the fence there from time to time. That said, the WUWT blog is just a cesspool of disinformation, and the recent spasms over BEST and the ClimateGate 2.0 fixation are really bad...

KR - I thought you meant you posted Peter Hadfield's video? I couldn't find it and no KR either.

I see Bolt's video has been posted for the second time but comments have slowed to a trickle. Wonder what Watts will do to crank 0.2 up again?

Brian - it's on the http://wattsupwiththat.com/2011/12/01/steve-mcintyre-on-the-bolt-report/ sub-thread, post #40. I've received a number of replies, including a full quote of JoNova's list of "journalistic excuses" - a general denial of any possible reasonable interpretation of the emails.

I'm going to let it be, aside from asking if anyone thinks that full context will be deceptive where out-of-context excerpts will not - I think the video speaks for itself. And the somewhat ranting replies do so as well.

Now if I could just get a lock on the tin-foil hat market for those folks...

Yes, I see it now. Watts does post but there's method in his madness. It generates heaps of follow-up posts from his tride that boosts his comments numbers - my comments generated a whole new post for him.

I don't comment any longer because not in the business of making his site look busy without any gain.
