Looks good.  I made a few minor edits - typo corrections and such.  It might help to add a stronger conclusion to the post - a takeaway message - but otherwise it looks good.

In the conclusion you suggest that Argo network has been reliable for short term trends since 2007 but there are still major problems with the network, unless they have been corrected in last couple of months, see here for very brief overview.

Yeah, "reliable" probably not the right word. Now amended to "more robust". Thanks Ari. The tone of the paper suggests there's still a few more issues to be resolved.

It would, however, be greatly enhanced by a side-bar article about the ARGO floats. What are they? What do they look like? Who deploys them? When? Where? Who collects and analyzes the data? Who fr into the future will they be deployed?
