From reading the introduction to the OA series, it might need some small changes as far as wording/grammar goes. Here is the text with suggested changes highlighted: Our goal is to provide you, our gentle readers, with the background you need to understand the chemical and physical processes behind ocean acidification. This will allow you to better understand a field that the rest of the world is waking up to and also to evaluate the commentary on the web. We were motivated to write these posts by the increasing number of comments – here and elsewhere – that are based on misconceptions about ocean acidification.

Some stuff to correct in today's post OA is not OK: .... We need a few words about chemical equations before we discuss what Equation 1 tells us. .... A basic principle is that chemical equations must be balanced. That is, they have the same number and types of atoms are on both sides. Please note: I could do these types changes myself in the original post, but the editor has been acting up for me off late so I'm hesitant to edit posts, especially if graphics are included
